Mission

With our advanced expertise, in-depth research work, continuous design of innovative solutions, development of sustainable concepts for the future and comprehensive knowledge of the electricity industry, we continue to fulfil the mission of the first promoter of the development of the electricity and general energy sector in Slovenia and its visionary founder, Prof. Dr. Milan Vidmar. As an important research and development institution and strategic partner of the electricity sector in Slovenia and beyond, we are strengthening the trust, integrity and credibility built over decades of our work and cooperation.

Vision

The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute will maintain its role as a leading institute that brings together, promotes and develops the highest level of expertise and research in the field of electrical and general power engineering in Slovenia and contributes to important achievements of the industry in the international environment. We will enable our employees to fulfil their highest professional potential and provide the most technologically advanced services to our partners in the electricity, business and wider society.
