The Cable Testing Procedures

The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute has more than 30 years of experience in testing and researching cables as well as equipment that enables testing and measurements on cables at all voltage levels up to 400 kV. Recently, we have upgraded our scope of services with a new mobile measurement system that enables middle and high voltage cable testing with ACRF resonance method. Testing includes low voltage measurements, increased voltage test, partial discharge measurements, dielectric losses factor measurements and sheath testing.
