The BioEM2018 international conference

The BioEM2018 international conference took place in Portorož from 25 to 29 June 2018. This conference is organised by the Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) and the European BioElectromagnetics Association (EBEA). The subject of the conference was the interaction of biological systems with electromagnetic radiation (from static fields to Terahertz frequency radiation). The conference encompassed in vitro studies, in vivo studies, epidemiology, experimental studies on people, interaction mechanisms, clinical devices and medical applications, theoretical and practical modelling, measuring instruments and methodology, dosimetry, exposure standards, professional exposure, public policies and risk assessments.
The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute presented a paper entitled "The multi-phase procedure for EMF limit values excesses verification" by author mag. Breda Cestnik and mag. Karol Grabner.
