IEEE GTD Asia 2019 Conference

The IEEE-PES GTD Grand International Conference & Exposition Asia 2019 (IEEE-PES GTD Asia 2019) took place from 19 to 23 March 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. It was attended by around 6000 experts from all over the world. Our researcher, Miha Grabner, presented his paper entitled "Assessing the Demand Response Program in a Network with High Integration of Photovoltaic Plants using Machine Learning". The paper was co-authored by mag. Andrej Souvent (EIMV), Prof. Boštjan Blažič and Prof. Andrej Košir (both from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering) The paper was selected for oral presented within the scope of the Big Data Analytics forum. The paper focused on the methodology that, by using long-term probability load and production advancement, enables the prediction of potential lowering of loads in the network within the scope of the consumption management programmes. The methodology has been developed at the EIMV within the scope of data analyses that were conducted under the Slovenian and Japanese project "Premakni porabo".
