Highlights of our webinar

The »STEPS TOWARDS DATA INTEROPERABILITY IN SMART GRIDS« webinar emphasized the importance of information exchange between stakeholders in smart grids. In the first part, Prof. Dr. Matej Zajc defined the concepts of data interoperability and explained semantic interoperability on a simple integration case. Prof. Dr. Nermin Suljanović illustrated the usage of the Common Information Model (CIM) on exemplary grid topology, at the end describing the full process of semantic data modelling in smart grids. M.Sc. Amila Dervišević described how electricity grid data are serialized in RDF files and stored in graph databases and subsequently extracted through semantic query languages.
