EIMV visits Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d'Essais

On 29 August 2024, the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute attended the business meeting at the French metrology institute Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d'Essais (LNE). As the national institute for metrology and testing, the LNE plays a key role in the development of measurement technologies and standards in France and worldwide, and is particularly active in the European Association of National Metrology Institutes.

EIMV representative Dr Rudi Vončina and Dr Maguelonne Chambon, Director of Research and Development at the LNE's Directorate for Scientific and Technological Research, discussed the latest research and innovation in the field of metrology. At meeting, they underlined the willingness to cooperate between the two institutions and the High Voltage and High Current Laboratory of the LNE, with the aim of strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience and professional cooperation in the metrological challenges of the electricity sector.
