EIMV takes part in e-mobility

09, Jan, 2020

In accordance with the trends in using electric energy for driving personal vehicles, the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute has started setting up the e-charging infrastructure. We have placed a quick e-charging station (22 kW) at the car park in front of the High Voltage Laboratory that will enable charging for two e-cars.

Today, we are facing the increase of e-mobility that contributes to reducing impacts of traffic on the environment. The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute will, along ordinary e-charging of vehicles, also test vehicle charging concepts and the use of electricity in traffic.
