EIMV’s presentation at the Energy Days

On 18 and 19 April 2023, the 25th Energy Days took place in Portorož. This year’s topic was Energy Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities. The event was attended by experts from the Electric Power System Control and Operation Department, and the EIMV, as a sponsor of the event again this year, presented itself to the wider public and participated at the panel meeting discussing self-supply and energy communities in the platform for successful integration of industry and the local environment.

Mag. Igor Podbelšek presented his lecture »Integration of energy sectors and energy communities from the point of view of operation and development of the electricity system« and focused on the current global technology and investment challenges, the importance of integrating sectors, the challenges of energy communities, the upcoming new network tariffs, the introduction of flexibility in the distribution network, and the experience of digitalisation and digital twins in the energy sector.
