EIMV's new director: Dr. Uroš Kerin

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Uroš Kerin took over the role of the Director of the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute on 1 September 2025.

Dr. Uroš Kerin is a renowned expert in the field of electrical power engineering, digital technologies and strategic management. He has built his career at the intersection of the research and industrial worlds – from international experience at Siemens PTI and AIT Vienna to leading roles at ELES, where he directed digital and energy innovations and built strategic partnerships.

As director, he wants to make a significant contribution to the further development of the Institute. His vision is based on linking research with industry, improving service quality, greater openness and active involvement in the energy transition – both at home and internationally.
