Approval of a new research project

The Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute in collaboration with a consortium of partners was approved to implement the research project under H2020 entitled: Coordination of Transmission and Distribution data eXchanges for renewables integration in the European marketplace through Advanced, Scalable and Secure ICT Systems and Tools (TDX-ASSIST). The aim of the project is to develop new ICT tools and techniques for an expandable, safe and interoperable exchange of data between transmission system operators and distributors. Data exchange will be related to future international standards and technological solutions. The final outcome will result in completely defined interfaces for automatic safe data exchange between all stakeholders and upon consideration of IEC standards.

One of the key roles will be the practical implementation of the pilot and result analysis on the infrastructure that will be prepared by the EIMV together with Elektro Gorenjska and ELES.
