The 4th meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee - TAC was held at the La Sapienza University in Rome at the end of January.
The meeting was convened by the Ppresident of TAC, Prof. Dr. Maks Babuder (EIMV). It was attended by the members from the following countries: Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine.
The meeting schedule comprised the preparations for the 2nd SEERC Conference in June 2018, for which more than 100 abstracts of professional papers have been submitted so far. 10 abstracts have also been submitted from Slovenia.
The following topics will be discussed at the conference:
Regional aspects of electric power market and the transitional period.
Resilience of electric power system in the SEERC Region.
Innovation in the electric power system of the SEERC Region.
The meeting was followed by a workshop discussing the Resilience of Grid: Events and Solutions. Prof. Massimo POMPILI presided the workshop.
The Slovenian example of the grid operation threats caused by bad weather conditions was presented by Mag. Marko Hrast, the President of the Slovenian national CIGRE Committee.
